The Spring Southern Home & Garden Show enters a new decade in 2012 with its 51st annual event in the Upstate. The March 2-4 show at TD Convention Center will build on the energy and excitement of the 2011 spring and fall Southern Home & Garden Shows, both of which experienced  an increase in exhibitors and attendees.

Owned and managed by the Home Builders Association of Greenville, this locally-produced consumer show draws exhibitors ranging from professional builders, remodelers and specialty contractors to manufacturers and sellers of all types of products and services for inside and outside the home.

A family event, the 2012 Spring Southern Home & Garden Show features a floor dull of exhibits, along with activities for adults and children including product demonstrations, how-to seminars, The Home Depot Kids Workshops and special show pricing offered by many exhibitors.

Show visitors will have an opportunity to learn how to save thousands of dollars this year during daily couponing seminars presented by Brandy Long, Queen of the Penny Pinchers and Greenville's most famous coupon clipper. The Greenville News is sponsoring Long’s appearance, with seminar attendees receiving complimentary copies of the newspaper including coupon inserts.  

“Couponing is no hobby or trend, it is a money strategy,” says Long. “It’s not what you make, it’s how you manage what you make. We persist in expensive behaviors purely out of habit, so we have to shift our attitudes and purchasing habits to suit our income levels.”
