Michael Dey was named Executive Vice President of the Home Builders Association
of Greenville in August 2007 and is responsible for day-to-day management of
the 525-member trade organization. Michael came to the HBA of Greenville from
Columbia where he was president of Michael Dey Public Relations, a government
affairs consulting firm which represented numerous clients before local, state,
and federal governments regarding a variety of issues including real estate development,
environmental, healthcare, and recreation.

![]() Michelle Hood Michelle Hood joined the HBA of Greenville in 2011 as Meetings & Events Planner responsible for coordination and execution of General Membership Meetings, Builder After Hours and the annual HBA of Greenville Golf Tournament. A native of Breaux Bridge, LA, Michelle graduated with honors from Converse College in Spartanburg, SC with a B.A. in Art Education and a Minor in Fine Art. Prior to joining the HBA of Greenville, Michelle was self-employed for five years as a fine artist.

![]() Michelle Kish Michelle Kish joined HBA of Greenville in 2011 as Administrative Assistant. A 1999 graduate of Newberry College, Michelle has extensive insurance industry experience in customer service and account management. She is a Certified Workers Compensation Advisor, a Certified Insurance Counselor, and in 2003 earned the Certified Professional Insurance Woman Designation. She has implemented and managed numerous workflow and office procedures initiatives. |
![]() Cathy Pendergrass Cathy Pendergrass joined the HBA of Greenville in 2011 and handles all accounting functions. A 1991 graduate of Auburn University with a B.S. in Accounting, Cathy worked for 10 years as an accountant for APAC - Ballenger Paving Division in Taylors, SC and as a part-time accountant for South Carolina Tel-Con, Inc. in Greer, SC for eight years. |
