Andrew Dan-Jumbo of TLC's "While You Were Out" and "Take Home Handyman"

Named one of People Magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People" in May 2003, Andrew Dan-Jumbo just recently started filming his third season of the TLC home improvement show WHILE YOU WERE OUT. An exceptional carpenter, but a reluctant sex symbol, Andrew took an interesting route to the wonderful world of celebrity.

Born in Nigeria and raised in Shoreham, a coastal town near London, England, Andrew attended London's St. Martin's College of Art & Design, then moved to San Diego, California, where he honed his surfing skills. After a few years Andrew returned to England, where he began a career as a freelance graphic designer. In 1991, Andrew returned to the U.S. and, with his brother, co-founded Eurotek, a commercial and residential construction company that specializes in restaurant and new home developments in Buffalo, New York. When he's not building and designing for WYWO, Andrew enjoys cooking, music, sports and working out.

Andrew has guest starred on Oprah, The View, Extra, and CNN and in countless periodicals including People Magazine and TV Guide. He has been the featured guest speaker at Home Shows throughout the United States and Canada.

Although carpentry takes up the majority of his schedule, Andrew has done television and radio commercials, and print and runway modeling.
