Sales & Marketing Committee

The Sales & Marketing Committeel of the Home Builders Association of Greenville seeks to raise the familiarity, comfort level and effectiveness of new home sales by educating in-house marketing staffs and local Realtors about new home construction. 

The SMC offers educational opportunities, and sales and marketing tools to its members. Committee members can take advantage of local offerings for national certification training for Institute of Residential Marketing (IRM) designations. The SMC also sponsors the ABC’s of New Home Construction, a hands-on seminar designed for Realtors and others interested in the sales and marketing of new home construction. ABC workshops are held at job sites with homes at various stages of construction to learn how specific products and installation techniques affect the price and performance of a new home.

The SMC of Greenville is affiliated with the NAHB National Sales and Marketing Council, which offers sales tools such as Sales & Marketing Ideas magazine and the Sales & Marketing Channel.
