The Home Builders Association of Greenville will present the 3rd Annual Fall Southern Home & Garden Show Sept. 30 - Oct. 2 at TD Convention Center (formerly Carolina First Center) in Greenville, SC.  Sponsored by Charter, the 2011 Fall show builds on the excitement of the 50th Annual Southern Home & Garden Show held March 4-6, bringing you great exhibits, seminars, promotions and celebrity appearances. 

The Fall Southern Home & Garden Show is for those who are planning fall fix-ups, renovations, outdoor living additions, and landscaping projects, as well as those searching for seasonal decor for the holidays. Of course, you'll also find everything imaginable for inside and outside your home. 

The Duct Tape Guys Appearing At Fall Southern Home & Garden Show

The Duct Tape Guys - America's wackiest home decorating team - will appear at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday on The Palmetto Bank Entertainment Stage.

The Duct Tape Guys are Tim Nyberg and Jim Berg - two everyday guys who have dedicated their lives to duct tape. They have authored seven books documenting more than 5,000 real and wacky uses for "The Ultimate Power Tool." In honor of The Duct Tape Guys, the Fall Southern Home & Garden Show will feature a Duct Tape Workshop where visitors can create their own duct tape masterpieces.

Accu-Brick, Clear Channel Sponsor $25,000 Backyard Makeover

Accu-Brick and Clear Channel Radio (WSSL-FM, WMYI-FM, WESC-FM and The Shine) are teaming up to give away a $25,000 Backyard Makeover during the Fall Southern Home & Garden Show that includes pavers, trellises, an outdoor kitchen and a fire pit.

Upstate residents can upload photos of their 'needy' backyards by clicking here. Four finalists will be selected with the winner determined by visitors voting at the Accu-Brick/Clear Channel booth at the 2011 Fall Southern Homes & Garden Show. The booth will display what the winner will receive.  

WORD's Bob McLain Broadcasting Live On Friday

Back by popular demand, WORD's Bob McLainwill again broadcast his popular talk radio show live from The Palmetto Bank Entertainment Stage at the Fall Southern Home & Garden Show. Attendees and exhibitors will have an opportunity to meet Bob and watch his live broadcast from the Fall Southern Home & Garden Show exhibit floor on Friday, Sept. 30 from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m.  

Home Show Seminars Offer Expert Advice On A Wide Range Of Homeowner Topics

A full lineup of fun and educational seminars during the Fall Southern Home & Garden Show gives you access to the experts and the opportunity to learn more about a wide range of topics including green remodeling, rainwater harvesting, holiday decorating and more. 2011 Fall Southern Home & Garden Show Welcomes Back Big Thursday

Big Thursday will return to the Southern Home & Garden Show as a private event held on the exhibit floor. The Thursday evening VIP reception will be an invitation-only event for members of Upstate area Home Builders Associations, Realtors, business owners, elected officials and other VIPs.

"The Thursday night event will have more of a trade show feel," said Michael Dey, Executive Officer of the Home Builders Association of Greenville. "We've had many exhibitors ask us about bringing back Big Thursday and believe this is the best way to do it. A private reception will allow home show exhibitors the opportunity to meet with builders and other potential business partners before the show opens to the public on Friday morning."
